Membership Criteria

Becoming A Member

business events

Membership is held by the business and remains with the business. The membership does not stay with the person if the person changes businesses.

One of the cornerstones of the Usadians is supporting one another’s businesses. Prospective members should be leaders in their business and should have the authority and ability to make purchases of goods and services from other Usadians’ businesses.

A new member will be expected to do a Craft Talk at a weekly meeting within the first few months of being accepted into the Association, and additional Craft Talks in future years.
Members are expected to circulate and get to know a diverse group of members (sit at different tables/meet with different members on a weekly basis). Also participate as a greeter, introducers, and thanker throughout the scheduled year.

It is expected that members attend the scheduled weekly luncheon meeting with a minimum accepted attendance of 50%. As a prospective member, it is important to consider your ability to commit before applying. It is possible for an applicant to name an alternate from the same business who can attend in their absence. An alternate’s attendance counts toward the main members attendance.

Attend one of our weekly luncheon meetings and learn more. Reach out to a member you know and visit as our guest!
